Trinity Church New York

Very small and very old, located at the intersection of Broadway and Wall Street...

Looking south on Broadway

...and west from Wall Street

This unusual bronze sculpture by Steven Tobin is based on the roots of an old sycamore tree that was knocked over by the collapse of the World Trade Center on 9/11

Behind the church is a cemetery with graves dating from the 1700s. Alexander Hamilton and Robert Fulton, among others, are buried here

And some not so famous and far more sad. This stone is for John Jones, aged 4 years, 4 months, and 2 days, who died in December of 1768

Views from the Brooklyn Bridge

The Manhattan Bridge

The South Street Seaport and the Financial District

Looking north toward a neighborhood called Two Bridges, and the Manhattan skyline

And the Statue of Liberty in the Upper New York Bay

The New York Brooklyn Bridge on a cloudy morning

And if you were wondering what happened to the traffic, the road is down below, but there weren't many cars on the bridge at this time of the morning

Baltimore, Maryland - view from a downtown garage

It was not a good day for pictures, and I was late for work...

...and I tried once more at the end of the day...
